HexClock

HexClock Screenshot

This is the HexClock, a simulation of a totally unreasonable timepiece. It uses Base16 time, breaking the day down to 16 hours, each hour divided into 256 minutes and each minute into 16 seconds. Number units greater than 9 are expressed using the letters A to F. I've toned the animation down to 10 frames per second as it has quite an impressive processing overhead (for what it is) and I don't want it skipping too much.

Alienate your friends, enrage your boss, start using base16 time today!

Circuitous

Circuitous Screenshot

This game, which took about two weeks to complete, is my very first project using Macromedia Flash. Circuitous is a cross between Tetris and Pipeline: you must use falling sections to create circuits between the sides of the reactor chamber. When a circuit is completed all the sections it uses are destroyed. Points are awarded for the number of sections used in a circuit. The game 'levels up' each time a quota of sections is reached, and with each new level the combination of sections becomes more challenging.
