This is the first major sculpture I worked on. By "major" I mean the first that I designed and executed to a plan. It's also my first anthropomorphic (that is, humna/animal) sculpture whereas my previous minor pieces had been of purely animal or abstract forms. The design is loosely based on a creature I described in a short story I wrote the previous year. I may get around to reproducing the story here for you thought at the moment I'm reworking it to submit to another clutch of small-press magazines.
