Description: The first stage was to construct an armature (a skeleton) which would be the structure's primary support.

This I built with cheap, 2x4cm pine held together with long galvanised steel screws. As you can see, at this stage neatness was not a concern since it would all be hidden. The wood was cut, drilled and placed as it was needed without worrying about the joins.
