Lupine Sculpture 1
The first stage was to construct an armature (a skeleton) which would be the structure's primary support.
Title: Lupine Sculpture 2
Date: 1995
Method: Wire
Description: Next came a wire frame that defined the wolf's basic outline.
This was made with 2mm galvanised steel wire pinned to the frame with small fencing-tacks. This process required a certain amount of intuition, guessing where shaping was most needed, how to get a piece of wire across the shape and how much space would be needed for the layers of plaster that would be going on top.

The space inside the frame had to be padded out with something onto which the plaster could be applied.
