Method: Paper and wire mesh

Description: The space inside the frame had to be padded out with something onto which the plaster could be applied.

I used a wire mesh (chicken wire) over the wire frame so that the space could be stuffed with newspaper, to which the plaster would readily adhere through the mesh. This turned out to be a far more laborious job than I had suspected, taking several days non-stop work.
